The Brief
We were tasked with giving the dated
Cartoon Museum a more modern and fresh brand identity.

Our Approach
The strategic approach behind this project was to
give the museum an even more playful visual and tone
of voice. The main audience of the museum are older people
interested in political  cartoons, children and families.

Responding to the museums offering of animation and illustration
workshops for kids, we wanted to give the brand a creator archetype
brand personality and get the customers involved in the branding
experience. This resulted in a generative logo that could constantly
be adapted based on customer creativity, or adapted according
to exhibition.

Independent project revisit

This roadtesting was to give an idea of how the identity could
flex across different merch, exhibitions and collaborations.
